Essay Assessments

The high school level Learning Language Arts Through Literature Gold Books include writing assignments such as epic stories, critical essays, and book reports. These writing assignments are meant to prepare your students for college writing and develop their critical thinking skills. As any writer knows, the key to writing is revision. Our essay assessments will provide support in revising the writing assignments. Your student’s stories and essays will be evaluated by an experienced writer. If you struggle with assessing the quality of your student’s writing and would like constructive suggestions on how to improve his or her work, this is the perfect companion service to the High School books. Even if you are an experienced writer yourself, this service can provide additional feedback. Areas of evaluation include: Mechanics, spelling, grammar, structure, and critical thinking. The service will be provided by Faith Welch, a recent summa cum laude English/Writing graduate of Lee University.
