1. a. Listen to your teacher as she reads the story, "Will Little Sparrow Fly?," from the reader, All Around the Farm.

b.-c. Discussion with teacher.

d. Read this passage.

Little Sparrow called to Pig, "How do you like this try?"

"It is time for you to fly, Little Sparrow," smiled Pig.

Circle the word in the first sentence that tells what Little Sparrow did. Circle the word in the second sentence that tells what Pig did.
